Training Barry for fat loss and muscle gain

With no gym experience, sports background and poor physical fitness Barry approached me wanting to lose fat mass and develop lean muscle mass over the whole body.

Barry was converting his garage into a home gym, so after an initial consultation, I advised Barry on which equipment he would need to achieve his goals. I then worked with him four times a week using free weights and resistance cables working through muscular endurance into hypertrophy.

The results spoke for themselves with Barry following the four-week program to achieve and impressive 11% fat loss and 15kg gain in muscle mass.
