I’d previously been a triathlete and fit for military service. However, a skewed work-life balance meant I had slipped into obesity and an unhealthy lifestyle. The imminent arrival of our first child prompted me to ask Michael to put together an intensive 4-day per week, Cross Fit-style programme to get me back into shape whilst on 2 months’ paternity leave.
Michael not only trained me in the gym but also provided nutritional and lifestyle advice to ensure that I lost weight in a controlled and sustainable manner. I’ve lost 25kg in total, and, now that I’m back at work, have continued to train regularly and have maintained my diet and lifestyle. I am now able to maintain a healthy weight and see week-by-week improvements in my overall fitness.
